character design for videogames

The inhabitants of RCF-1089 are the main characters of a tragic situation: Someone has been killed in their small town and no one knows who's the culprit.

Father Ysma is the local priest. The xamorian usually listens and comforts the locals, and now that this mystery has unraveled he might have a clue on what truly happpened.

Iva is an apathic bartender, doomed to work in there while she figures out where his lost brother is. She has no clue, and the only thing that remains of him is his jacket, which she is always wearing- that is, out of work.

Neo is a teenager, born in RCF-1089 and totally bored of it at this point. He's supposed to inherit the family business and his life is already scripted despite his young age, but he couldn't be more opposed to it.

Qik is an apollinean activist that lives to protect the ix'iks, an endangered species. He's taking care of a young ix'ik and it's become his full job, but while he's at RCF-1089, he's found other interests as well, and now is unsure if he wants to keep with this complicated task of protecting this species.

MKV is a war veteran who acts like a self-proclaimed sheriff. She tries to keep peace in this blue, stormy planet to cope with her complex past. No one has ever seen her below her armor, and takes advantage of that, as humans don't have the best reputation after ruling the galaxy with an iron fist.

about me

Hi! My name is Ariel, but people also know me as Van. I am a freelance artist specialized in illustration and character design, though I also trifle with making merch, comics and animatics. I love vampires, superheroes, fantasy and history. My favorite thing is to create and tell stories, and I look forward to make comics or animations of them one day! :o)I can adapt to many different styles, but I tend to go for organic linework, stylized colors and dramatic lightning. Now I am focused on improving my visual storytelling skills. I offer commissions and I'm always open for new projects, I'm just an e-mail away!
